8. After making your selection, click the button. The Status eld
will indicate when the process has completed.
◦ VuVault
®
will create les named “devicecong” and “AssignedTo”
and place into the root folder of the FirstVu HD. These and all
other media les are accessible to the user only if Secure USB
Port is disabled within the VuVault Admin > Devices > FirstVu HD
Settings menu.
◦ If Secure USB Port is enabled, the only accessible information
is the dvminfo.log le. The dvminfo.log le contains basic
information about your device such as serial number and
rmware version. Video uploads and device conguration MUST
be done through VuVault
®
when this option is enabled.
9. Unplug the USB cable and reboot your FirstVu HD by turning the power
switch OFF, wait until blue LED stops ashing, then turn back ON.
The FirstVu HD is now activated, congured, and ready for use. For more information
