Why won't the flame effect start on my Dimplex CDFI1000-PRO Indoor Fireplace?
    • P
      Patricia CoxSep 8, 2025
If the Dimplex Indoor Fireplace flame effect will not start and there are no error blinks, note that mist will begin emitting after 45 seconds of operation. If flame is being produced but is not rising beyond the top cover, lift the top cover carefully while the unit is operating. If mist is produced but not rising, refer to section 3.5. Also, put the unit in test mode to test the transducer; if the transducer is running, ensure the emitter is clean and free of calcium deposits or scaling. If the transducer is not running, replace it with the provided additional transducer.

Why doesn't mist rise in my Dimplex Indoor Fireplace?
    • J
      Jeffrey CallahanSep 7, 2025
If mist is being produced under the top cover of your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace but does not rise to create a flame effect, make sure the cord is not located over the emitter on the transducer; relocate it so the mist can rise freely. Ensure the transducer is correctly installed, with the connection clicked into place and the transducer seated properly. Also, check for water in the fan duct and ensure there is none. Put the unit in test mode to test the fan, ensuring the fan filter is clean and dry. If the fan isn't working in test mode, replace it; if the issue persists, replace the main board.

Why is the flame rolling back into my Dimplex CDFI1000-PRO Indoor Fireplace?
    • J
      Justin WolfeSep 5, 2025
If the flame appears to be rolling back into your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace, ensure there is sufficient air intake by enlarging the area for air to enter the unit, making sure it reaches the bottom. If that's not the issue, put the unit in test mode to check the operation of the heating element. If no click is heard from the relay, replace the main board.

How to fix uneven mist on a Dimplex CDFI1000-PRO?
    • M
      Monica HaleSep 3, 2025
If mist is not coming out evenly from your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace, you can take the following steps: * Remove any condensation buildup on the mist outlet. * Adjust the feet under the unit to ensure it is level, front to back and side to side. * Rearrange the media to ensure it is not blocking airflow. * If the transducer is running in test mode, ensure that the emitter is clean and free of calcium deposits or scaling. If it is not running, replace the transducer with the provided additional transducer. * If you are using demineralized water, add 1/8 tsp of table salt to the water reservoir to introduce electrolytes, repeating only when mist is not being produced correctly. * Allow water to warm to room temperature.

Why is the flame effect too low on my Dimplex Indoor Fireplace?
    • W
      williamweaverSep 1, 2025
If the flame effect is too low in your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace, first, adjust the flame height on both the secondary and/or primary controls, as the flame effect control may be set too low. If that doesn't work, check for insufficient air intake and enlarge the area for air to enter the unit, ensuring it reaches the bottom. A defective transducer could also be the cause, so consider replacing it.

How to reduce smoke in Dimplex Indoor Fireplace flame effect?
    • D
      Diane DelgadoSep 1, 2025
If the flame effect in your Dimplex Indoor Fireplace has too much smoke or is coming out too fast, it could be due to the flame effect control being set too high. Adjust the flame height on both the secondary and/or primary controls to reduce the smoke or speed. Also, check if the filter is missing from the fan housing and insert the fan filter if it is missing.
