6.1 Battery Module Breaker
The battery module Breaker protects the electronic components of the battery
module’s internal BMS from high, externally generated currents.
NOTICE
The Breaker and the BMS are independent. Setting the Breaker to the ON (Closed)
position does not switch the BMS ON. Setting the Breaker to the OFF (Open) position
does not switch the BMS OFF. Independently set the BMS ON or OFF with the ON/OFF
key.
NOTE
Additional external DC fusing is required to protect the battery cables from DC
overcurrent and to meet installation codes.
