Start Unit
1. Fasten and adjust seat belt.
2. Ensure all controls are in neutral.
3. Set engine speed to half throttle.
4. If necessary, use engine cold start button and/or hydraulic fluid bypass control to warm engine. See
page 23 and page 27.
5. Turn ignition switch to start position and release when engine starts.
EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN: Turn ignition switch to STOP.
IMPORTANT:
• After starting in cold temperatures, allow unit to warm up by running it at low throttle for
several minutes.
• When working in low ambient temperatures, pay special attention to fuel, oil viscosity,
antifreeze, and water adhering to filter.
