− Do not engage in any other activity
when performing a measurement.
− If you are not sure how to use the
thermometer, you should consult your
physician before using it.
− Keep this user manual for the entire
service life of the product and include
it if you pass the thermometer on to
third parties. Make sure that the user
manual is also accessible to third
parties. The user manual is part of the
thermometer. When passing it on to
third parties, make sure they too are
aware of the risks associated with the
thermometer.
− The thermometer has a class 1 LED
(flashlight function). Do not look
directly into the LED beam for a pro-
longed period and do not point the
LED beam in the eyes of other persons
or animals.
− Avoid improper use and use that does
not correspond to the designated
purpose.
− Keep the infrared sensor clean and
dry and avoid damages. This is the
only way to obtain accurate measure-
ments.
