Software installation
If the mouse cursor is over a thumbnail on the right side the images is shown in the preview
window. Click the right mouse button to enter a submenu where you can open, store copy an
delete an image. During the storing procedure the program shows a save file dialog. The file
can be saved in either jpeg or bmp. The jpeg size in which the photo is saved is the maximum
allowed for jpeg. You can choose to decrease the size by adjusting quality. Click the Advanced
button to view and select jpeg save options.
In the PC camera mode the image size is limited to 320x240 and 640x480 pixel.
To capture a picture press F11 or clock the camera icon. The photos are stored in the Photos
Directory.
The images appears in the image list on the right side.
To start record a video click on the video camera icon on the top of the window or select
Capture > Video.
To stop the record click once again on the video camera icon.
The videos are stored in the Videos Directory.
Main menu
File
Photos Directory: Directory to store the photos.
Videos Directory: Directory to store the videos.
Import: Import the pictures from the microscope to the computer for further
use.
Exit: Finish the program.
Options
Preview size: In this menu you can set the preview size.
Rotate Here you can rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise or
Date/Time: The date and time is displayed in the image
Language: Sets the OSD language.
Toggle Fullscreen: Switching between normal and screen display. The switch back to
normal view is done with a double click on the image display.
Preferences: Here you can make different settings for image display and different
effects can be produced (only VGA resolution and smaller). The set-
tings can be loaded and saved. The words on the screen are self-
explanatory.
Capture
Photo: Capture a single image
Video: Starts a video recording. Click again to stop recording.
As soon as the program is started and the microscope is not connected, an error
message appears
“No Device detected, please connect your Microscope directly to your USB Port.“
