MAINTENANCE
COOLANT
SYSTEM
(1)
Drain
and
clean
entire
system
thoroughly
when
coolant
becomes
unsuitable
for
further
use.
(2)
Periodically
empty
reservoir
to
clean
coolant
screens
.
(3)
Flush
entire
system
with
DoALL
Kleen
Flush
when
changing
coolant
types
being
used.
CHIP BRUSH
(1)
The
chip
brush
will
lose
wire
bristles
and
become
less
effective
as
it
wears.
(2)
The
brush
should
be
adjusted
so
bristles
remove
all
chips
from
tooth
gullets
;
yet
do
not
touch
gullet
bottoms
..
This
is
done
by
loosening
bracket
screws
and
moving
brush
closer
to
the
band.
(3)
Replace
brush
when
necessary.

MACHINE CLEANING
(1)
During
the
sawing
process
,
chips
will
accumulate
below
the
powered
brush
.
These
should
be
removed
as
often
as
possible.
(2)
In
addition,
the
operator
should
check
often
for
chip
accumulations
around
such
machine
areas as:
saw
guides,
table
top,
wheels,
vises
,
head
lift
assembly,
etc.
These
may
affect
machine
performance
and
sawing
accuracy
if
not
removed
.
CAUTION:
"STOP"
band movement before opening
machine doors or covers.
NOTE: The DoALL Company recommends removing
chips at least twice
per
each 8-hour shift,
and more often when necessary.
SAW
GUIDE INSERT REPLACEMENT
(1)
Remove
adjusting
screw
holding
spring
washer
housing
and
moveable
insert.

(2)
Insert
screwdriver
through
adjusting
screw
hole
to
engage
fixed
insert
screw
sl
ot.
Remove
fixed
insert.
(3)
Remove
retention
screw
above
adjusting
screw
on
saw
guide
arm.
Press
4
ball
bearings
from
their
seats.
(4)
Thoroughly
clean
saw
guide
body
and
insert
area.
(5)
Inspect
roller
bearing's
2
useable
wear
surfaces
.
If
the
surface
which
has
been
just
used
is
worn:
(a)
Re-
i
nsert
bearing
in
saw
guide
with
the
unworn
surface
exposed
to
band
back;
(b) Re-
insert
4
ball
bearings
and
retention
screw
.
(6)
Replace
fixed
and
moveable
inserts
if
worn
.
(7)
To
re-assemble:

)
Install
inserts
and
spr
ing
washer
housing;
(b)
Tighten
adjust
i
ng
sc

ew
until
i
nserts
touch
; (
c)
Turn
screw
1-1/2 turns
counterclockwise
; (d)
Place
band
between
inserts
and
turn
screw
1-1/2
turns
clockwise.

DRIVE BELT REMOVAL
(1)
Turn
band
drive
motor
"of

Turn
band
speed
handwheel
counterc

ockwise
as
far
as
possible
.
(3)
Remove
screws
holding
wheel
cover
to
head
top,
rear
and
right
side.
(4)
Slip
belt
from
around
driven
pulley
;
then
from
variable
speed
pulley.
(5)
Carefully
place
new
belt
i
nto
dr
iven
pulley
groove;
then
around
and
into
variable
speed
pulley
groove
.
(6)
Slowly
turn
band
speed
handwheel
cl
ockw
ise.
Check
belt
position
in
grooves
as
tigh
t
ening
occurs.
(7)
Replace
cover
with
holding
screws
.
