Burner Head
Is the burner flame liing off of the burner
head?

Burner Supply Valve
Do the burner or pilots fail to light or stay
lit?
Perform a spray leak test. 22
Check the gas pressure. 20
Check the supply valve and turn the valve to the
open position.
Inspect the burner supply valve.
Is the valve visibly damaged?
If damage is observed, replace the component (visit

Is the valve closed? Turn the valve to the open position.
Cooktop
Visually inspect for chips or damage.
Is the cooktop warped or cracked?
Excessive heat build-up could result from pans that
exceed 10 in. (254 mm) in size or that are not large
enough to cover the burner area and/or contain the
cooked food. This heat build-up can result in damage
to the range and warping or blistering of the cooktop.

Is the cooktop rattling during operation? Check to see if there are grommets missing from the
range top. If so, replace the grommets (visit www.
