Visually inspect the flex line. Are there any
kinks?

Is there a constant gas smell present? Perform a spray leak test. 22
Gas Regulator
Do the burner or pilots fail to light or stay
lit?
Do the burners light, but the flames are
low?
Is the oven not reaching the set cooking
temperature?
• Test the gas flow:
1. Confirm there is gas in the tanks.
2. Confirm the gas is turned on from the tank.
3. Hold the oven knob in the pilot position or
the burner knob in the light position for up to
10 seconds.
4. Check for a gas smell.
Yes - wait for the gas to clear, then check for a
spark at the burner or pilot. If there is a spark
but the burner or pilot does not light, check
the ignition system.
No - continue with the diagnosis.
• Check the gas pressure. 20

Is the range rattling during operation? Visually check to make sure the mounting brackets are
in place. Tighten the brackets if they are loose.
