Braking circuit test
The cyclical test (performed every 24 hours)
of the internal braking circuit could not be
performed successfully.
System tolerances and ambient conditions influence
the braking circuit test. For this reason the test cannot
always be successfully completed the first time. In
this case, an information message is displayed. This
may be the case if the door is used manually while
measurement is taking place. If the test fails ten times
in a row, error message E 73 is displayed.

DCW communication
At least one registered DCW device is missing.
Reconnect the corresponding DCW device.
If this is not possible, the drive must be restarted. To
do this, press the
and buttons on the internal
control panel simultaneously for at least 3 seconds.

Locking device error
The drive is attempting to open or close a locking
device with feedback or a DCW locking device. An
error has occurred during this process.
It is assumed here that there is a defect on the locking
device or an error in the wiring. The locking device
feedback must be checked and replaced if necessary.
E 04 Flashing

times
Safety sensor test error
The test of the moving safety sensors was
unsuccessful. A test signal is sent to the
corresponding sensor before each and every
opening or closing operation. The drive waits for a
response during a particular time window.
First of all, it must be checked whether the “safety
sensor test” parameter has been configured according
to the equipment. It must then be checked whether
the test is also activated on the sensors themselves
and is being operated at the same level. The test is
switched off when the sensors are delivered.
E 12 Flashing
12 times
EEPROM error
The internal memory check could not be
completed successfully. The drive is working in
door closer mode.
An attempt can be made to reinitialize the system by
reloading the valid firmware. If this fails, the control
unit must be replaced.
E 13 Flashing
13 times
Overcurrent recognition
More current is being withdrawn to the system
than the power supply unit can provide.
The motor is consuming too much current or the
control unit’s power amplifier is defective. If this error
message appears repeatedly, the motor gear unit or
control unit components must be replaced.
E 15 Flashing
15 times
Learning cycle faulty
The learning cycle could not be completed.
This error may occur if the learning cycle has been
interrupted, e.g. due to the door being manipulated
during the process. The learning cycle must be
restarted.
E 25 Flashing
five times
SVP DCW PR module
The test was negative.
Check the wiring and replace the PR module if
necessary.

Incremental encoder error
The incremental encoder’s monitoring feature has
detected a faulty status.
In the event of an error, first check whether the
incremental encoder’s and the motor’s plug
connections and the locking device’s electric circuit
have short-circuited.
If no error can be found, the motor gear unit must be
replaced. The error may be due to a defective motor
or to a short-circuit in the locking device’s electric
circuit. If the motor is defective, the motor gear unit
must be replaced.
E 62 Flashing
six times
The second system has a firmware version that is
incompatible with double-leaf operation.
Equip both control units with the same firmware
version.
E 63 Flashing
six times
The second system has an incompatible
fire protection setting.
If using double-leaf systems, the Fire Protection
Upgrade Card must be installed on both control units.
E 71 Flashing

System error 1 (second shutdown option)
Several switching elements are used to allow the
drive always to shut down safely. They are tested
on a cyclical basis to ensure proper functioning.
If the test fails permanently, the control unit must be
replaced.
E 72 Flashing

System error 2 (current measuring circuit)
The current measuring circuit forms part of the
safety equipment and is tested on a cyclical
basis to ensure it is working properly. The drive is
working in emergency mode.
If the test fails permanently, the control unit must be
replaced.
