System error 3 (braking circuit)
The braking circuit is a safety element in closer
mode and is tested every 24 hours. During
the test, the motor is switched off during the
closing operation and the door moves towards a
permanently set angle in emergency mode. The
test may be noticeable by a brief jolt on the door
leaf. This is no cause for complaint.
The door closes too quickly when de-energized
(in less than 3 seconds).
Check and, if necessary, reduce the closing time (see
page 21, point 5.11).
If the test fails permanently despite the closing time
being set correctly, the control unit must be replaced.
- 1
Energy management
The motor is too hot (e.g. due to too high an
ambient temperature).
The system responds automatically.
The driving dynamics in the “closed” direction are
reduced.
- 2 The driving dynamics in the “open” and “closed”
direction are reduced.
- 3 The system switches off for 3 minutes
(door closer mode).
- 4 The hold-open time is extended.
