3.10 Operating Elements
The ED 100 and ED 250 drives are electromechanical
drives. Automatic opening and closing is possible only if the
motor gear unit and the control unit work together properly.
For this, the control unit must recognize particular door
parameters to achieve the best possible behavior.
The control unit is equipped with a user interface with
an information display. All of the settings specified in the
parameter list can be made using these operating elements.
3.11 Information Display
The information display consists of a two-digit display. The
display is configured during commissioning such that the
numbers and digits are shown correctly irrespective of the
direction of installation.
3.12 User Interface
Four buttons are available to input data. The function of the
buttons is also adapted to the direction of installation during
commissioning. Consequently, the pushbuttons always have
the same functions according to their arrangement. The
button legend can be removed and rotated.
