Service maintenance manual
8.52 Assembly and disassembly of lower envelope in an assembly
8.52.1 Disconnect optical sensor modules’ cables (see Fig. 503 Fig. 504).
8.52.2 Unscrew two screws of fastening optical sensors module fastening, remove modules (see
Fig. 504 Fig. 505 Fig. 507).
8.52.3 Remove rubber rings from LEDs (see Fig. 505 Fig. 507).
8.52.4 Remove sensor holders (see Fig. 506 Fig. 507).
8.52.5 Unscrew four screws fastening rider rolls assembly brackets, remove brackets (see Fig.
508 Fig. 509).
8.52.6 Pull springs out of brackets (see Fig. 510 Fig. 511 Fig. 512 Fig. 513).
8.52.7 For replacement of any of the rolls it is enough to remove one washer locking the roll
(see Fig. 513 Fig. 514).
Lower envelope assembly should be carried out in reverse sequence, while:
8.52.8 Install springs so as straight ends of springs get into holes on the axle and on the other
side to the holes of the cover (see Fig. 510 Fig. 511 Fig. 512).
8.52.9 After assembly of the rider rolls bracket ensure that rollers are rotating freely, without
jamming, shaft with rollers moves freely in the bracket grooves.
8.52.10 During fastening brackets with screws to the envelope use medium strength thread
locker Loctite 243 (see Fig. 508 Fig. 509).
8.52.11 Rubber rings to be installed onto LEDs all the way in (see Fig. 505).
8.52.12 Installing optical sensors modules ensure that sensors holder projections will fit
openings on optical sensors modules (see Fig. 504).
8.52.13 Cable of sensor TrS0-BVS_X9 (shorter cable) should be connected to the optical
sensor module located closer to the lower envelope bend (see Fig. 503). Cable of the sensor TrS1-
BVS_X10 (longer cable) should be connected to the second module of optical sensor.
