9.3 Functional testing of magnet sensors
Functional testing of magnet sensors is required after replacement of magnet sensors,
removal and installation of rear frame assembly, lower envelope assembly and pressing shaft as-
sembly.
US Dollars banknotes are required for testing. The test is considered to be passed if at
least 30 banknotes passing through tract are counted. The first two banknotes in the batch are not
counted for the test, so the batch minimum size is 3 banknotes (in this case at least 30 counts are
required). The recommended package size for the test is 32-40 banknotes (some banknotes can
be rejected due to misalignment in the tract etc.). The banknotes must be not lower that average
extent of wear.
Below is the list of banknotes applicable for testing:
$1, $2 any emissions.
$10, $20, $50, $100 2004 and later (i.e. new emissions only).
ATTENTION: $5 banknotes are not applicable (regardless of emission).
