Why won't my DR Lawn Mower engine start manually?
    • A
      Aaron GarciaAug 19, 2025
If your DR Lawn Mower engine won't start manually, ensure the Spark Plug wire is properly attached, the engine has the correct amount of clean oil, and the fuel is fresh and unleaded. For a cold engine, prime it by pushing the Primer Bulb 3 to 5 times. Also, check the Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Spark Plug, and ensure the Throttle is in the RUN position.

What to do if my DR SPRINT PRO engine smokes?
    • R
      ramirezdouglasAug 21, 2025
If your DR Lawn Mower engine is smoking, first check the oil level and adjust if necessary. Ensure you're not operating on too steep of an incline. Inspect the Air Filter and clean or replace it if needed. Also, verify you're using the correct oil type for the temperature and clean the Engine cooling fins and carburetor housing if they're dirty.

How to fix a DR SPRINT PRO engine that lacks power?
    • L
      Lauren GuerreroAug 25, 2025
If your DR Lawn Mower engine lacks power or isn't running smoothly, check the Throttle travel and ensure the Air Filter Intake, Blower Housing, Throttle Linkage, and Cooling Fins are free of debris. Make sure the Air Filter is clean, dry the Spark Plug connection, and inspect the Spark Plug for dirt or cracks. Use fresh, clean, unleaded gas, check the Fuel Filter for clogs, and verify the engine has the correct amount of clean oil.

Why is the recoil on my DR SPRINT PRO hard to pull?
    • M
      Miss Bonnie DavisAug 26, 2025
If the recoil on your DR Lawn Mower is difficult to pull, the engine may be seized; check the engine oil level. An oil compression lock in the cylinder could also be the problem; remove the spark plug, cover the hole with a rag, and pull the recoil cord several times to clear any oil. Wipe and reinstall the spark plug. If the engine pulley turns by hand with the spark plug wire off, the recoil might be broken or jammed.

What causes the drive wheels on my DR SPRINT PRO not to turn?
    • J
      John OliverAug 30, 2025
If the drive wheels on your SELF-PROPELLED DR Lawn Mower model won’t turn, the transmission clutch may be out of adjustment; adjust the inline adjuster located in the clutch cable. The drive chain may have broken or come off the sprockets, or the drive belt may have come off the pulleys, worn out, or failed; remove the bottom shield to investigate. Also, check to see if the wheels rotate freely in each direction.
