LOW-PRIORITY ALARMS:
- Alert to technical issues that may compromise the ability of
the system to monitor the patient; for example, artifact on the
ECG waveform. May also be selected as an arrhythmia alarm
grade.
- Affected parameter box & alarm message field have a cyan
background and an audible alarm* sounds when active. Both
audible and visual alarm signals automatically stop when the
alarm condition ceases to exist without user intervention.
Note:
- Audible alarm signals are distinct for each alarm priority, but
specific characteristics, including break through alarms, vary
depending on the selected alarm pattern (Infinity, IEC fast or
IEC slow) & software level.
- See IFU for specific alarm tone characteristics.
- Certain modes, such as OR mode & break through mode, oper-
ate differently.
