TO ADMIT A BEDSIDE MONITOR / M300 PATIENT AT THE ICS
1. From the Main screen select desired Viewport for admission
(Select here to admit banner is in the waveform area for
M300; Discharged banner is in the waveform area for bedside
monitor).
2. The Admit/Standby screen with the Demographics tab will ap-
pear in the BedView.
3. If HL7/ADT interface is active, enter the patient ID number in
the Patient ID field, then select Get data button. Then go to
step 4 for M300 patients or go to step 6 for bedside monitor
patients.
OR
Manually enter required patient demographics in the corre-
sponding fields. Then go to step 4 for M300 patients or go to
step 6 for bedside monitor patients.
4. For M300 patient, select Patient Category (Adult or Pediatric)
(For bedside-monitor patient, complete at the bedside moni-
tor).
5. For M300 patient, select the ID corresponding to the M300
device to be admitted in the Telemetry device ID field.
6. Select Apply button (bedside monitor must be taken out of
Discharge mode at the bedside before patient monitoring be-
gins).

Adult Pediatric Neonatal
