Electronic Calipers
TO ACCESS THE CALIPERS PAGE
1. Access either the Full disclosure or Events page.
2.
Position the cursor over the ECG area to measure.
3. Select the
Calipers... button.
4. Select the
desired mode ( Measure… or Review… ).
TO TAKE INTERVAL MEASUREMENTS
1. Once selecting the Measure… mode the page initially opens
with one highlighted row of measurement displaying zero val-
ues.
2. Move the mouse to the desired interval measurement box in
the first table row, and then click to select it (appears yellow).
3. Position the mouse on the left R-wave of the measurement of
the interval you want to measure and click on the left mouse
button to set the left caliper.
4. Position the mouse on the right R-wave of the interval you
want to measure and click the right mouse button to set the
right caliper.
5. Use the caliper adjustment controls to adjust the location of a
caliper setting.
6. Move the cursor to the next interval measurement box and
select it.
7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 for each desired measurement inter-
val of that complex.
8. Once the RR interval has been measured the internal advance
arrows can be used to “march” the calipers along the strip.
9. To save the measurements, select the Save all button.
