TO ZERO TRANSDUCERS Y-CABLE
1. Use Rotary knob to highlight the Pressure Parameter box,
click.
2. Use Rotary knob to highlight Zero, click.
TO CHANGE LABELS
1. Use Rotary knob to highlight the Pressure Parameter box,
click.
2. Use Rotary knob to highlight Pressure Labels, click.
3. Use Rotary knob to highlight the label you desire, click.
TO CHANGE THE WAVEFORM SCALE
1. Use Rotary knob to highlight the Pressure Parameter box,
click.
2. Use Rotary knob to highlight Scale, click.
3. Use Rotary knob to select desired scale, click.
Pulmonary Artery Pressures
1. Follow your hospital’s procedures for setup, then take a PWP
measurement as follows:
2. Verify that a PA catheter has been properly inserted and the
catheter tip is situated in the pulmonary artery.
3. Press the Wedge fixed key on the pod acquiring the PA signals.
OR
4. Use Rotary knob to highlight PA parameter box, click.
5. Open the PA setup menu, scroll to Wedge Start and click.
6. The following screen appears:
