Truck-mounted charging system
Fault Cause Remedy
No LEDs lit. External in-line fuse is blown. Replace fuse.
No power available. Check power source.
Positive power lead not connected to the
positive terminal.
Check that lead is connected correctly.
Yellow LED is lit, red and green LED do not
light when camera or battery is placed in
charger.
No batteries installed in the camera. Verify that there are good batteries in the
camera.
Bad connection to camera or battery. Make sure charger contacts are clean and
unbent. A small amount of contact cleaner
(e.g. WD-40) can be used to clean charger
and camera or battery charging contacts.
Reseat firmly to ensure connection.
Batteries do not fully charge. Power source is noisy. Ensure that power hookup cable is
connected to a clean power source without
excessive voltage spikes.
