indicated in the table below:
Maximum engine rpm not to be exceeded for the
first period of use
Up to 1,000 Km (621 mi)
7,000
rpm
Running-in recommendations:
●
During the first few hours of riding, it is
advisable to vary the load and engine speed
continuously when the engine is warm, while
remaining within the limit indicated in the table.
●
During intensive use always down a gear to
prevent the engine from overloading.
●
Do not run the engine at high rpm for a long
time, when riding uphill; up
a gear reduces fuel consumption and noise.
●
Avoid riding at constant speed, either slow or
fast, for a long period of time.
●
Do not ride at full especially when the
engine is cold.
●
Avoid at full and rapid
acceleration.
●
Avoid abrupt and prolonged braking, act
carefully on the brakes.
●
Check the drive chain frequently. Lubricate as
required.
Before using the motorcycle, check for no
labels on the rear-view mirrors; otherwise remove
them.
