Lubrication of the drive chain
The chain fitted on your motorcycle has O-rings to protect
moving parts from dirt, and to hold the lubricant inside.
So as not to damage these seals when washing, use
special solvents and avoid aggressive washes with high-
pressure steam cleaners. After cleaning, blow the chain
dry or wipe with an absorbent material, then lubricate each
link with SHELL Advance Chain or Advance Teflon Chain.
Important
Using non-specific lubricants may cause severe
damage to the chain and the front and rear sprocket.
