6.5 Thread clamp
The sewing machine is equipped with thread clamp as standard.
Table of all parameters relating to the function "thread clamp" at seam
beginning.
Note: If the parameter 235 is set to "3" or "4", the holding power for sewing foot lifting during
thread clamping can be adjusted via parameter 239 :
The value of parameter 239 must be set to:
- a lower value, if the holding power for sewing foot lifting is too strong or
- a higher value, if the holding power for sewing foot lifting is too weak
(for example: thread breakage at seam beginning).

1 = Thread clamp without NFL with parameter 210 + 211
2 = Thread clamp without NFL (for light material)
(FK ON = 108°; FK OFF = 268°)
3 = Thread clamp with NFL (for heavy material)
(FK ON = 108°; FK OFF = 268° / NFL ON = 108°, NFL OFF = 154°)
4 = Thread clamp with NFL (for applications with high sewing foot pres-
sure or thread breakage at seam begin)
