    • A
      Ashlee MartinezAug 19, 2025
If the control display on your Duke Broiler isn't lighting up, the first thing to check is the power supply. Ensure that the broiler is properly plugged into a receptacle with the correct voltage and Hertz, as indicated on the nameplate. Also, check the dedicated circuit breaker to make sure it hasn't tripped.

What to do if my Duke FBB-10-230 Broiler control display is reading “gAS bot”?
    • L
      lwebsterAug 22, 2025
If the control display of your Duke Broiler is showing “gAS bot”, first cycle the broiler off and then back on. If the error persists, ensure that the gas valves connected to the broiler are in the ON position. Also, check the lower burner. If it's not lighting properly, clean it with a broiler cleaning tool if the broiler is hot, or remove it for cleaning and reinstall if the broiler is cold. Remember to clean the lower flame sensor with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol.

If the conveyor belt on your Duke Broiler isn't moving to discharge the product, the belt might be obstructed. Manually rotate the conveyor belt from the discharge end using a broiler cleaning tool to check for any obstructions. Also, make sure the discharge scraper, docking plate, and flame arrestor are all properly in place.

What does “Lo” mean on my Duke FBB-10-230 display?
    • K
      Kathryn BaileyAug 27, 2025
If your Duke Broiler control display reads “Lo”, it could be due to several reasons. First, the lower burner may not be lighting properly; if the broiler is hot, try cleaning the burner in place with a broiler cleaning tool. If the broiler is cold, remove the lower burner, clean it, and reinstall it. Also, clean the lower flame sensor with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Second, the infrared burners may not be lighting properly; remove the upper control compartment panel and clean the upper flame sensors with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol, and clean the flame sensor tube with a flame sensing tube cleaning brush. Third, make sure the grease pan is installed. Finally, ensure the impedance pan or catalyst is installed.

What to do when my Duke FBB-10-230 display reads “gAS toP”?
    • C
      Christopher MitchellSep 2, 2025
If the control display on your Duke Broiler is showing “gAS toP”, it could be due to the broiler not receiving a gas supply. Ensure that the gas valves connected to the broiler are in the ON position. Another possible cause is the infrared burners not lighting properly. To resolve this, remove the upper control compartment panel and clean the upper flame sensors with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Also, clean the flame sensor tube with a flame sensing tube cleaning brush.
