How do I fix a Duke Oven if the convection blower isn't working?
    • C
      cody20Aug 3, 2025
If the convection blower in your Duke Oven isn't working, the motor may be damaged and overheating, there may be an inverter malfunction, or the control board may be malfunctioning. To troubleshoot: * Verify that the convection blowers are properly supplied. If the motor overheats, the thermal breaker will interrupt the motor supply lines from the inverter. Determine the root cause for overheating if applicable, and replace the motor if necessary. * Verify the connections and programming parameters of the inverter. Replace or reprogram the inverter if needed. * Verify the function of the control board through the service screen and check the signal output of the J3 connector. Replace the control box if necessary.

How to troubleshoot a Duke Oven that won't turn on?
    • A
      Amanda Craig MDAug 8, 2025
If your Duke Oven isn't working at all, the issue might be with the incoming power supply or a blown fuse. First, check the main circuit breaker and ensure the oven is properly connected to the power supply, also verify rating/power of supply connection. Then, inspect the fuse and replace it if it's defective.

Why is there no convection heat in my Duke RCO Oven?
    • J
      Jordan WilliamsOct 30, 2025
If your Duke Oven isn't producing convection heat, several factors could be responsible. The high limit thermostat might be activated, the auxiliary thermostat could be damaged, the heating SSR might not be triggered, or a fuse may have failed. Here's how to troubleshoot: 1. Verify that the manual reset of the high limit thermostat has been released. If the circuit is open while the oven is under temperature verify function of thermostat and replace if necessary. Otherwise, reset the main thermal cutout switch and determine the root cause for activation. 2. Check for a trigger signal from the control board to the heating SSR, and verify the supply voltage across the SSR. If the SSR isn't switching despite the signal and supply being present, replace it. Determine the root cause for the ...

What to do if my Duke Oven magnetron is not working?
    • S
      Sylvia WilcoxNov 11, 2025
If your Duke Oven's magnetrons are not operating consistently or not working at all, several components could be the cause. It could be damaged magnetrons, a shorted or open HV diode, a shorted or damaged HV capacitor, a damaged HV transformer, the magnetron SSR not being triggered, damaged interlock switches, or the door not fully closed or door switches not adjusted. To troubleshoot: * Verify magnetron operation in the service screen. * Check the HV diode and its wiring. * Check the capacitance of the HV capacitors. * Measure and inspect the coils and terminations of the HV transformer. * Verify the trigger signal from the control board to the SSR and the supply voltage across the SSR. * Verify the operation of the door switches upon opening and closing the door, checking ...
