Grounding Instructions
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of
an electrical short circuit, grounding
reduces the risk of electric shock
by providing an escape wire for
the electric current. This appliance
is equipped with a cord having a
grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must
be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed
and grounded.
WARNING – Improper use of the grounding
can result in a risk of electric shock.
Consult a qualied electrician or serviceman if
the grounding instructions are not completely
understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the
appliance is properly grounded.
DO NOT use an extension cord. If the power supply
cord is too short, have a qualied electrician or
serviceman install an outlet near the appliance.
This oven should be plugged into a separate circuit
with the electrical rating as provided in the product
specications. These are available on Duke’s
website: www.DukeMfg.com. When the oven is on a
circuit with other equipment, an increase in cooking
time may be required and fuses can be blown.
External Equipotential Earthing Terminal (export
only)
This oven is equipped with a secondary earthing
terminal. The terminal provides an external earthing
connection used in addition to the earthing prong
on the plug. Located on the back of the oven, the
terminal is marked with this symbol:
