The Duracell® Powerpack contains components that tend to
produce arcs or sparks.
To
prevent fire or explosion, do not operate
the Duracell® Powerpack in compartments containing batteries or
flammable materials, or in locations that require ignition-protected
equipment.
The Duracell® Powerpack should be operated only in a
location that meets these requirements:
Do not allow water or other liquids to drop or splash on the
Duracell® Powerpack.
Ambient air temperature should be between 0 and 40°C
(32 and
104°F)-the
cooler the better within this range.

Leave at least 2"
(5
cm) clearance around the Duracell®
Powerpack for air flow. Ensure that the ventilation openings
are not obstructed.
Do not operate the unit in the same compartment as
batteries or in any compartment capable
of
storing
flammable liquids like gasoline.
Do not operate the Duracell® Powerpack where it will be
exposed to battery gases. These gases are very corrosive,
and prolonged exposure will damage the Duracell®
Powerpack.
