9.2.1. Storagecondions
Thebaeryshouldpreferablybestoredinadry,wellvenlatedplace.Protectthebaeryagainst
dampandwater.Inpoorweathercondions,werecommendremovingthebaeryfromthe
e-bike and storing it in an enclosed space.
Storethebaery:
Ҍ in a space with smoke detectors.
Ҍ awayfromcombusbleorhighlyammablematerials.
Ҍ away from sources of heat.
Ҍ away from bright sunlight.
Ҍ attemperaturesbetween10°Cand20°C.

Ensurethatthemaximumtemperatureisnotexceeded.Forexample,thebatteryshouldnot
be left in the car in the summer.
10. Transport
Ifyoutransportthee-bikeoutsideyourcar,forexampleonatrailer,removetheon-board
computerandbaerytopreventdamage.
Youcantransportundamagedbaeriesbyroadwithoutfurtherrestricons.
Iftransportedbyprofessionalusersorthirdpares(e.g.airtransportorashippingcompany),
youmusttakeaccountofspecicrequirementsrelatedtopackagingandindicaons(e.g.ADR
regulaons).Ifnecessary,youcanconsultanexpertinhazardoussubstancesaboutpreparingthe
package for sending.
Onlysendthebaeryifthecasingisundamagedandthebaeryoperatescorrectly.Usethe
originalBoschpackagingfortransport.Tapeoopencontactsandpackthebaerysoitcannot
move in transit.
Inform the package service that the package contains a hazardous product. Observe any
