10.3.2 IP configuration/DIP Switch Settings
The DIP switches are used to configure the device’s fieldbus addresses.
Flipping a single switch adds the switch specific value to the total address
value. As a result, values in a range from 0 to 255 can be configured that
way.

For example, flipping switches 4 and 6 results in the address 40.

000 If the DIP switches are set to 0, the IP address settings stored in the NV-memory of the
device are used.
The factory default behaviour is DHCP. The IP address settings can be configured by the
IPconfig tool.

If the DIP switches are set to 1, the address settings of the device are as follows:
IP address: 192.168.1.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.2
001 - 254
If the DIP switches are set in the range from 1 to 254, the IP address settings of the device
are determined by the switches:
IP address: 192.168.1.<DIP Switch Setting>
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Invalid Setting. Device will not start-up properly. PWR and GW are flashing red.
