What to do if my EBARA Water Pump's pumping is not effected, or has insufficient pumping capacity?
    • J
      Janice TaylorAug 4, 2025
If your EBARA Water Pump isn't pumping effectively or lacks sufficient capacity, the issue might be due to several reasons: the pump running in reverse rotation (obtain regular rotation), a damaged gate valve (inspect and repair), excessive voltage drop (contact electric power company), using a 60 Hz pump with 50 Hz (check the nameplate for frequency), a discharge head or piping loss that's too high (rethink the system plan), a water level that's too low causing air intake (raise the water level or lower the pump's position), a leaking or clogged discharge pipe (inspect and repair/unclog), foreign matter in the suction inlet or inside the pump (remove the matter, disassemble pump and eliminate foreign matter), or worn-out impeller(s) (replace them).

Why does my EBARA DL Water Pump operate, but stop after a while?
    • M
      Michelle MillerAug 8, 2025
Your EBARA Water Pump might stop after running for a bit if prolonged dry operation or high liquid temperature has activated the automatic cut-off function. To resolve this, raise the stop water level or lower the liquid temperature.

What to do if overcurrent occurs in my EBARA DL Water Pump?
    • J
      john76Aug 13, 2025
If overcurrent occurs in your EBARA Water Pump, it could be due to excessive voltage imbalance between supply phases or excessive voltage drop (in both cases, contact the electric power company), phase interruption (check connections and the magnet switch), using a 50 Hz pump with 60 Hz (check the nameplate for frequency), the pump running in reverse rotation (obtain regular rotation), a head that is too low causing a water flow rate that is too high (turn down the gate valve, or replace the pump with one with a lower head), foreign matter trapped in the pump (disassemble the pump and eliminate the foreign matter), or worn-out motor bearings (replace or repair).
  • O
    Olivia CollinsAug 16, 2025
Why does the thermal protector activate on my EBARA Water Pump?
    • C
      Christopher McculloughAug 17, 2025
The thermal protector on your EBARA Water Pump may activate if the liquid temperature is too high (lower the liquid temperature), or if the pump runs in air for a prolonged time (raise the stop water level). For overcurrent consult the overcurrent column.
  • J
    Juan DawsonAug 21, 2025
Why does my EBARA DL Water Pump have excessive vibration or noise?
    • C
      chelsea29Aug 21, 2025
Excessive vibration or noise in your EBARA Water Pump could stem from the pump running in reverse rotation (obtain regular rotation), foreign matter trapped inside (disassemble the pump and eliminate it), or resonating pipes (improve the piping to stop the resonance).

What to do if the flood-sensing device activates on my EBARA DL Water Pump?
    • J
      Jacob OrtizAug 26, 2025
If the flood-sensing device activates on your EBARA Water Pump, it could be due to a mechanical seal leak or because it is no longer serviceable. Replace the mechanical seal (review liquid quality and operation conditions).

    Ryan RamosOct 30, 2025
What to do if my EBARA DL Water Pump does not start, or starts but immediately stops?
    • G
      George SaundersOct 30, 2025
If your EBARA Water Pump fails to start or stops immediately after starting, possible causes include obstructions to float movement (remove them), power failure, excessive imbalance in power supply voltage, excessive voltage drop (in all of these cases contact the electric power company), phase interruption (check wiring connections and the magnetic switch), faulty connections in power circuits (check them), errors in control circuit wiring (correct the wiring), a blown fuse (replace it with one of the correct capacity), a faulty magnet switch (replace it), malfunctioning or faulty level switches (replace or repair them), activation of the electrical leakage breaker (repair the leakage location), foreign matter trapped in the pump (eliminate it), a burned-out motor or worn-out motor bearin...
