Operation
Cold weather operation
Install intake cover when you feel cold on your back.
1. Remove back cushion from frame.
2. Install intake cover on frame over air intake.
3. Install back cushion to frame over intake cover.
Emergency release
Pull up the buckle upward at the time of the emergency.
The harness of the side of the buckle pulled up upward is loos-
ened by the one's own weight and the blower is easily taken
down.
Practice this procedure prior to operating this unit.
Throttle control
The "Cruise" function allows the operator to use a throttle po-
sition lever for constant speed use without using the throttle
trigger. This is useful for limiting the fatigue caused from hold-
ing the throttle for extended periods of time.
Cruise Function
Using the right thumb, push the throttle position lever down until
the desired engine speed setting is reached.
To bring engine speed down to idle, push lever back up into orig-
inal position.
