LUBRICATION
Level 1.
Tools required: Clean Rag
Parts Required: Lithium Base Grease.
Drive Shaft
IMPORTANT
The drive shaft must be lubricated with high temperature automo-
tive grease every 25 hours of operation, otherwise drive shaft
assembly overheating and failure can result.
1. Loosen clamping knob (A).
2. Pull locator pin (B) and rotate 1/4 turn counter clockwise to lockout
position.
3. Remove attachment.
4. Remove coupler from upper drive shaft assembly by loosening
clamping screw (C) and removing set screw (D).
5. Remove upper flex cable, wipe clean and apply a thin coating of 1/2
oz. (15ml) of high temperature automotive grease.
6. Install cable. Make sure that the flex cable engages into the clutch
mount. Install coupler engaging coupler adapter onto flex cable end.
7. Install set screw (D) and tighten clamping screw (C).
