If your Echo Trimmer engine is hard to start or doesn't start, consider these potential causes: * A blocked fuel strainer or fuel line. The suggested solution is to clean or replace these parts. * A fuel mixture that's too rich. You should OPEN the choke, clean or replace the air filter and adjust the carburetor. * The stop switch is in the OFF position, or there's an electrical problem or interlock switch issue. Turn the switch to the ON position. * The spark plug has an incorrect gap, is covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or is defective. Adjust the gap to 0.65mm (0.026 in.) or clean or replace the plug.
