6.1.2 Connecting the suction pipe and pressure pipe

Caution
When connecting the suction and pressure pipes, ensure
that the O-rings (Pos. 5) are fixed to the connectors so as to
achieve the required seal.
Note
The use of an appropriate suction pipe from our product
range is recommended.
Trim the hose to the precise length.
Slide the union nut (pos. 2) and Clamping piece (pos. 3) over the
hose and attach the hose to the tapered part up to the stop collar
(pos. 4).
Insert the O-ring (pos. 5) into the valve groove and tighten the
union nut.
Place the suction pipe in the delivery bundle.
6.2 Electrical installation
6.2.1 Mains power supply
Connect the mains power supply cable to the power grid.
NOTE
Power connection should be produced according to the current CE guidelines.
Furthermore, the specific regulations, which were enforced in every single country, as well
as all regulations established by local electric supply companies have to be observed.
The following graphic charts display the connection plans for versions E00/E10/ – 1-phase
motor (see fig. 6.11) and E00 3-phase motor (see fig. 6.12).
In addition to that, you will find all connection plans on the cover of the motor’s terminal box.

WARNING
When connecting the 3-phase motor, particular attention has to be paid to the correct
sense of rotation.
The mains voltage has to correspond with the value indicated on the nameplate.
NOTE
The metering pump is provided with an installed thermic winding protector, which stops
the motor when overheated.
The pilot lamp of version E10 lights up even though the temperature fuse might have
already been released.
