9. Troubleshooting
CAUTION
Repair work on lines that are live or under pressure should be carried out only by qualified
personnel.
Symptom

Metering pump not
operating; no green
LED display
Incorrect voltage
Confirm that supply voltage is being supplied;
exchange any faulty fuses in the terminal box
or pump. (See EMP II Metering Pump
Operating Guide)
Pump not metering
Pump faulty
Refer Elados EMP II Metering Pump
Operating Guide.
Pump incorrectly set
Set correct pulse divisor or multiplier.
No pulse transfer from water flow
sensor to EMP pump
Check plug on pulse transfer cable.
Replace water flow sensor if necessary.
Fault warning on
display of the pump
Metering valve clogged
Clean valve
Metering back pressure to high
Check metering line
Red LED lights up on
“empty” signal
indicator AND Pump
not metering
Supply container empty
Replace supply container
Suction pipe faulty
Replace faulty suction pipe and if necessary
check whether the float switch is blocked.
