Chapter 4 Optional and Advanced Functions
4.1 Configuring a Barcode Reader
iSE can be connected to Honeywell 1900 two-dimensional barcode reader. But to use the barcode
reader, you need to configure it first.
1. Connect the barcode reader to the PC.
2. Scan the setup barcode in Figures 4-1 and the barcode that functions as the Enter key in Figure
4-2. If successful, the barcode reader will make a sound and glow green.
3. Connect the barcode reader to the iSE electrocardiograph. It is ready to scan now.

NOTE:
The barcode in Figure 4-2 is a must if the barcode reader is intended to be connected to
the iSE electrocardiograph.
To restore default factory setting, scan the following barcode.
NOTE:
Only barcode readers recommended by the manufacturer can be used.
