What to do if the Link LED is off on my Edge-Core Switch?

If the Link LED on your Edge-Core switch is off, ensure both the switch and the connected device are powered on. Check that the cable is securely plugged into both the switch and the device. If the switch is in a rack, inspect connections to the punch-down block and patch panel. Ensure the correct cable type is used and that its length is within specified limits. Inspect the adapter on the connected device and cable connections for any defects, and replace any defective components as necessary.
