If you encounter a system fault with your Edge-Core Switch, start by consulting the Installation Guide to confirm the switch is indeed the cause of the problem. Then, enable logging, configure error messages to include all categories, and enable SNMP and SNMP traps, designating an SNMP host to receive error messages. Finally, repeat the actions leading up to the error. Also, document the commands or circumstances causing the fault, along with any error messages displayed. If the issue persists, contact your distributor’s service engineer.
