  If you are unable to connect to the Edge-Core Network Router using Secure Shell (SSH), ensure the SSH server control parameters are correctly configured on the switch, and the SSH client software is properly configured on your management station. Verify that you have generated both an RSA and DSA public key on the switch and exported it to the SSH client, and that the SSH service is enabled. Also, confirm that you have set up an account on the switch for each SSH user, including a username, authentication level, and password, and that you have imported the client's public key to the switch if using public key authentication.

How to fix serial port connection issues with Edge-Core Network Router?

  If you cannot access the onboard configuration program of your Edge-Core Network Router via a serial port connection, ensure that your terminal emulator program is set to VT100 compatible with 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, and a baud rate of 115200 bps. Also, check that the null-modem serial cable conforms to the pin-out connections provided in the Installation Guide.
