Time Range
– 574 –
periodic This command sets the time range for the periodic execution of a
command. Use the no form to remove a previously specified time range.
SYNTAX
[no] periodic {daily | friday | monday | saturday | sunday |
thursday | tuesday | wednesday | weekdays | weekend}
hour minute to {daily | friday | monday | saturday | sunday |
thursday | tuesday | wednesday | weekdays | weekend |

daily - Daily
friday - Friday
monday - Monday
saturday - Saturday
sunday - Sunday
thursday - Thursday
tuesday - Tuesday
wednesday - Wednesday
weekdays - Weekdays
weekend - Weekends
hour - Hour in 24-hour format. (Range: 0-23)
minute - Minute. (Range: 0-59)

COMMAND USAGE
â—† If a time range is already configured, you must use the no form of this
command to remove the current entry prior to configuring a new time
range.
â—† If both an absolute rule and one or more periodic rules are configured
for the same time range (i.e., named entry), that entry will only take
effect if the current time is within the absolute time range and one of
the periodic time ranges.
EXAMPLE
This example configures a time range for the periodic occurrence of an
event.
