If your EdgeStar Air Conditioner continues to operate after the water tray is full, or if water full protection occurs frequently, it could be due to a faulty water level switch. Check the connections of the water level switch. If the connections are fine, the switch may be defective and need replacement. Also, verify that the water level switch isn't stuck in the 'empty' position and is operating correctly without any interference.
