8. Storage and disposal
8.1 Storage
Use the following procedure to store the pump:
1. Shut down the pump as described in Shut down on page 24.
2.
Disconnect the pump from the electrical supply.
3.
Place and secure protecve covers over the inlet and outlet ports.
4.
Store the pump in cool, dry condions unl required for use. When required,
prepare and install the pump as described in Installaon on page 15.
8.2 Disposal
WARNING:
Do not incinerate uoroelastomer or peruoroelastomer seals, p seal material or
O‑rings.
Dispose of the pump and any components removed from it safely in accordance with all
local and naonal safety and environmental requirements.
Take parcular care with components and waste oil which have been contaminated with
dangerous process substances.
