9. Warranty and Compliance
9.1. Warranty
EESIFLO guarantees the certification of the equipment Ex-Works and our standard terms and conditions
apply – available upon request.
Any action on the unit other than software changes will invalidate the warranty and EESIFLO will not
indemnify the customer for any costs incurred.
If a fault is suspected or observed the unit must be checked by the manufacture or persons trained and
authorised by the manufacturer, otherwise this will invalidate the warranty
The unit can either be repaired or replaced at our discretion but this can only be carried out by persons
trained and authorised by the manufacturer, otherwise this will invalidate the warranty.
9.2. Declaration of Conformity
Declarations of Conformity are packed with each individual EASZ-2 Unit.
9.3. Long-term Storage
If it is not intended to install a unit within 3 months of purchase then the unit must be conserved for long-
term storage according to the manufacturer’s instruction otherwise the warranty will be invalid.
9.4. WEEE Compliance
The wheelie bin symbol displayed on the unit signifies that it must not be
disposed of through the normal municipal waste stream, but through a
registered recycling scheme.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment directive (WEEE) makes
producers responsible from the 1st July 2007 to meeting their obligations,
with the fundamental aim of reducing the environmental impact of
electrical and electronic equipment at the end of its operational life.
ESSIFLO is now registered with the Environmental Agency as a producer
and has joined a recycling scheme provider who will manage and report
on our electrical waste on the company’s behalf.
When your unit is at the end of its life, please contact us in order to help
us meet our WEEE obligations.
