  If your Electra Heat Pump's compressor isn't starting, check the voltage on the compressor terminals on the outdoor unit using an ammeter. If there's no voltage, replace the main P.C.B. If the voltage is low, repair the power supply. If the voltage is correct, replace the capacitor or compressor. If there is no voltage, repair the electrical wiring between the indoor and outdoor units.
