GUTTING TO KNOW YOUR DISHWASHKR
This section is designed to help you become familiar with the various features
of your new dishwasher.
1. Mains on/off button
Push the on/off button in to operate the machine. The mains on indicator
lamp (2) will illuminate when the machine is switched on. To stop the’
machine, push the button in and release it.

When the machine is switched off, the indicator lamp will go out.
3. Wash temperature pushbuttons
These pushbuttons are used in conjunction with the programme selector dial.
Simply select the required programme, push in the appropriate button and the
machine will heat up to the appropriate temperature. If no buttons are
selected, the water will normally heat up to 65°C.
4. Door handle
To open the door, grip the handle firmly and pull outwards. To close the
door, simply push the door firmly until it engages. Do not use excessive force
as you may damage the dishwasher.
5. Programme selector dial
The programme selector dial is marked with letters corresponding to the
programmes on the control panel. These programmes are explained in more
detail on page 16 ‘Programmes and Sequence Chart’. When selecting a
programme, you should turn the programme selector dial clockwise until the
letter you require coincides exactly with the white pointer immediately above
the dial. Never attempt to turn the programme selector dial in an anti¬
clockwise direction.
5a. Programme indicator
The programme selector dial also has a black spot on it. This spot points to
the symbols on the fascia panel around the outside of the dial, indicating the
stage that the programme has reached. The black line on the fascia panel
indicates that the end of the Quickwash programme has been reached. The
symbols are explained below

MAIN WASH
COLD RINSE
HOT RINSE
HOT AIR DRYING
RINSE AND HOLD
QUICK WASH
Do not use the black spot to select a programme - always use the letters.
6. Salt refilling indicator
When this lamp illuminates, the water softener needs refilling with salt.
