8.3 Machine connection
Connect the earth and other two wires as shown.

Single phase machines may be powered either by connection between a phase and neutral or by connecting be-
tween two phases.
Example:
Machines for 220-240V single phase may be powered from 380V or 400V or 415V system by connection between a
phase and neutral or from 220V or 230V or 240V system by connection between two phases.
