TROUBLESHOOTING FOR YOUR FIREPLACE
Problem Possible Cause Suggested Solution
When the remote is activated nothing
happens
Gas supply is turned off or low
pressure Powerflue fan loom is not

Reprogram the remote to the receiver

The remote batteries are flat Replace the Battery
The remote operates but appliance
does not operate or spark
Gas supply is turned off or low

Check if the gas supply is turned on
and the pressure is optimum
Powerflue fan loom is not connected Connect Powerflue fan loom
Flues not connected or incorrectly
installed; refer red/black labels
Check Installation and connect flues
The fire cuts off and won’t relight The over temp snap disc has been
activated.
Allow the fire to cool down and then
try to relight the fire. If the fire fails to
relight, contact the manufacturer.
The fan will not come on Possible caused by overheat or
electrical fault.
Contact the manufacturer.
Flame appears to be low Pressure not set All pressures are set in the factory at
the time of manufacture, however the
installing plumber mus make sure the
pressures are correct.
