Why is no image displayed on my Elmo MX-1?

  If no image is displayed on your Elmo Digital Presenter, several factors could be the cause. First, check that the AC adapter and power cable are securely reconnected. If you've just turned the power off and back on, wait a few seconds before turning it on again. Ensure the output setting matches the connected cable and that the switch on the side panel is set to the right. Also, confirm that the monitor is on and the input source is correctly set.

  If the image is frozen, it may be because the 'Freeze' function is enabled. To solve this, press the button on the operating panel again to cancel the freeze status. If you are using Image Mate 4, cancel the freeze status within the software to resume the live image feed. Also, please reconnect all the cables.

  4K image can only be output from a computer connected via the USB. The computer needs to be able to output 4K image. Install Image Mate 4 (which supports the MX-1) to such computer and use it to view 4K image.

  If the image on your Elmo Digital Presenter is frozen, the “Freeze” function may be active. This function is selected by pressing the button on the Operating panel of the MX-1. To cancel the freeze status, press the button again.

Why is the image striped on my Elmo Digital Presenters?

  Striped images on your Elmo Digital Presenters can result from several factors. It may be interference fringes between dots of printed matter and TV scanning lines or CMOS pixels; changing the shooting range of the MX-1 may improve the problem. Vertical stripes on an LCD projector screen can be mitigated by manually adjusting the dot clock from the projector. If the shooting environment is too dark, adjusting the brightness in the Brightness adjustment mode may also help.

  If the image on your Elmo Digital Presenters appears too dark, it might be due to insufficient lighting. To resolve this, set the MX-1 to Brightness mode from the operating panel and adjust the brightness. Alternatively, switch to Zoom mode and turn on the LED lighting with a short press of the button.
