Removeneedle,presserfootandneedleplate,theninsertneedlebarheightgaugeNo.607800.

SetCenteringDialatCenterPosition.
Removegaugeandclosefrontcover.Replaceneedleplate,presserfootandneedle.
Itisessentialaftertheaboveadjustmenttocheckalsotheclearancebetweenneedlesandpointofshuttlehook
whenusingthedoubleneedleclamp(topreventskipstitchingandneedlebreaking).
Turnflywheeltowardsyouandcheckwhetherpointofshuttlehookjust
touchesgentlytheflatatthebottomofthegauge.
Ifneedlebarissettoohigh,proceedasfollows:
Lowerpresserfootlevertoopenfrontcover.(Threadtake‐uplevermustbe
inaraisedposition.)
Turnflywheelslowlytowardsyouuntilpointofshuttlehookisjustbelowthe
needlebarheightgauge.
Loosenscrewinneedlebarlinkpinandlowertheneedlebaruntilgauge
restsuponpointofshuttlehook.
Tightenscrewinneedlebarlinkpinafterthisadjustment.
Ifneedlebarissettoolow,followthesameprocedureasabove,butafter
looseningthescrewintheneedlebarlinkpin,raisetheneedlebarabovethe
shuttlehooktobegin.
