The Algorithm Update Rate Panel
This eld allows you to change the rate at which the
ER5000 operates.
By default, the ER5000 monitors feedback and generates a
response every 25 ms. Some applications provide feedback
at a considerably slower rate and may see a performance
improvement if the Algorithm Update Rate is set higher, which
slows the response of the ER5000.
To change the Algorithm Update Rate
1. Move the slider control to the right or enter a multiple of
25 ms in the entry eld, to increase the rate.
NOTENOTE
CAUTIONCAUTION
WARNINGWARNING
The default rate is 25 ms, which is also the minimum
value the eld will accept. Changes to this eld must be made in
increments of 25 ms.
CAUTION
The Algorithm Update Rate controls the speed of response of the
ER5000. The default values should not be changed if you are not
certain how this will effect the performance of the controller.
